SYNOPSIS
In the beginning there was creativity, the mother of all that came into existence. As Man walked the earth, we ought to perpetuate the work of thee, whose inspiration gave birth to life. The work, thoughts and processes I’m about to share with you, behind their raw and unpolished nature, are the expression of a state of mind. My writings, Posts, pictures, all aim at shedding more light at the African formal/ informal business world, Art scene, Fashion, Lifestyle and culture. My Blog addresses the African society’s issues as a whole and trends from a business minded entrepreneur’s perspective. This is not a blog writen from ‘the outside’ like you are used to. No TABOU in a very straight forward American English style of writing full of colors and imagery.

I would like to start this post by first wishing you all to have a successful year. Yes there are indeed many reasons why we should all be happy and thankful. To the achievers, still continue to pave the way and inspire us daily. To those of you that do not own much, always hearing about who you will never be…

Only One song can Best summurarize my state of mind for this New Year.

I believe in the light that shines and will never die
Oh I believe the fire burns, we stay alive
They will talk about us
Like they talked about the kings before us
They will talk about us

2012 seems like a very eventful year that some are really looking forward to, while others wish they could just go back in time (The Euro is the New Zero, Greece needs some Grease, Republicans in the Cans… Take your pick I could do this all day). Where do YOU stand? That I don’t know but one thing is sure tough, I’m one of those that is thinking HIGH economic Growth, HIGH Potential, HIGH-rise buildings. You get the picture; reasons good enough to get me HIGH. Like I mentioned earlier…

There is so much you learn while travelling the depths of African countries. Living a full time entrepreneurial life means always seeking out new adventures. My latest venture this time led me to Lakota, in the South-Bandama Region in the Ivory Coast, HOME of Didier Drogba. I learnt how one can make so much out of so little. You get to appreciate the little things in life. Above all, spending time there has also made me realize that there are indeed opportunities around every corner. When it comes to the farming business,

Ever been in a situation where many said “Naa not even a chance” or “Just drop it!”, “You won’t make it”. I have been told all my life I was never going to be anything; that I would never accomplish anything significant. Should I have listened to them? Believe it or not YES I did. I listened to them, and understood them. Did I do any of the things they suggested I do?

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
